Move the time using the employee’s timesheet
Step-by-Step Guide
-
Check the status of the timesheet
Keep in mind, that to move a banked time or project time to another, the employee’s timesheet should not be invoiced. To do that we go to the Timesheet Review page.
- Check if the employee’s timesheet is pending review
If the status is Pending submission, you go ahead in moving time to Step 3
If the status is Pending for review, click on the week period date, then a window will pop up where you can reject the entry then proceed to move time to Step 3
- If the timesheet is not on the Pending Submission and Pending for Review status, go to the approved timesheet page. Select the appropriate filter to find the employee and the project number
- Check if the employee’s timesheet is pending review
-
Check if the project on the timesheet is invoiced.
In this example, Project 24-022 time is already invoiced. Only time that is not yet invoiced will be returned. In this example, we need to rescind the invoice to be able to return time. Follow the steps on how to Rescind the invoice here
If the Project’s time is no longer invoiced, proceed to unapprove the time, and don’t forget to leave a message.
